This site is administered by both the Affetside Millennium Green Trust and the Affetside Society Affetside Choir was formed in 1984. It sings locally for  churches, associations and weddings. The repertoire is wide  and suits a variety of occasions.  The Choir sing easy listening music from the shows past and present  and  light popular  pieces. The Choir have undertaken concerts with the Internationally  renown  “Besse’s Brass Band”, and have even had pieces  specifically written for them to perform; see "Tango  Affettolato". Using our website traffic data, “Affetside Choir” is the second  highest ranking in keyword searches, which gives an indication of their popularity. In the first two months of the website going live over 80 people had accessed this website using “Affetside Choir” as the search words! New Members: If you are interested in joining Affetside Choir we rehearse on Monday evenings 7.30pm to 10.00pm at Affetside  Church/Chapel. Auditions are not required. Both men and  women of all ages are welcome – all you need is a love of  music and enjoy singing. Our next season of rehearsals  commence on Monday 7 September 2010.
