Congregational Church and dates from around 1840.
The church currently offers both Congregational Sunday
Service in addition to Presbyterian Sunday Service

Affetside Choir
Affetside Church is also the ‘home’ of the well known Affetside Choir who undertake
concerts throughout the area. The choir meet at the church at 7:30pm Monday evenings.
The choir have undertaken concerts with the Internationally renown “Besse’s Brass Band”,
and have even had pieces specifically written for them to perform; see "Tango Affettolato".
Using our website traffic data, “Affetside Choir” is the second highest ranking in keyword
searches, which gives an indication of their popularity. In the first two months of the
website going live over 80 people had accessed this website using Affetside Choir as the
search words!
