Affetside Society also works to organise social events to bring villagers, family, friends and the wider public together. We don't just do the civic stuff!! Our aim is to unite the community and using our NEW FORUM we welcome people from  as far a field as Australia and America to our now famous annual French boules   competition and other events which are always well supported.
